CRITICAL REVIEW

He works with different media, from metal to ceramics and marble, exploring freely the aesthetic qualities of the matter. He debuts with wood sculpture, sometimes ennobled with chromatic interventions, with vague references to the popular tradition. A distinct chapter is the experiments generated by the concept of metamorphosis or of shape that impose a certain dynamic to the act of watching (Stairs, Metamorphosis, Ear). The works he makes in his last years focus more on the human figure, but this figurative feature is not a mimetic one, rather one that oscillates between suggestion and a descriptivism connected to irony and fabulous.
