CRITICAL REVIEW

Elena Hariga creates highly spiritualised characters, a universe populated by angels, seraphim and cherubs, whose freedom from the useless materiality becomes concrete in crystal clear purity. The drawings, as well as her three-dimensional shapes intelligently explore the relation between hidden/revealed, suggesting the emotions of an artist permanently aware of the Mystery and the mysterious.
