CRITICAL REVIEW


        Non-figurative compositions that are part of the large palette of  Romanian abstractionism, with its allusion at folklore, technology and symbol. An austere and minimalist rhetoric, not lacking dynamism. He prefers wood on which he intervenes with colour.

    (Hăuceşti, Bihor, 1958)

    Academic studies:
    1983 - 1987 - „Nicolae Grigorescu” Institute of Plastic Arts, with professors Paul Vasilescu and Horea Flămându, Bucharest.

    Professional activity:
    1988 – Republican grant for sculpture by the Plastic Artists Union;
    1995 – Professor of sculpture at the Faculty of Plastic Arts in Oradea;
    1996 - 2005 – sculptor for the Ministry of Defence.

    since 1990 – Member of the Plastic Artists Union in Romania

    1990 - 2010 - Rosaries, 12 solo exhibitions of sculpture at Oradea and Bucharest;.

    1987 – Prize of magazines „Viața studențească” and „Amfiteatru”;
    1988 – Republican grant of the Plastic Artists Union in Romania, sculpture department .
