Like many Romanian artists that were active after 1960, his plastic language fluctuates depending of the approached subject. If he refers to a realist vocabulary in the case of an official order (protraits) – Mihai Eminescu (bronze, bust, Focsani) Mihail Sadoveanu (Husi, 1963), Stefan Luchian (Bust, bronze, Iasi,1964) – for his free choice of objects, he modifies his expressive manner. The shapes will assume a fluidity, obtained by detail sacrifice. From some biblical episodes, he extracts the femme fatale theme: Dalila (marble), Judith (marble) Salomea (marble). The following works belong to the same stylistic family: Ecstasy, Nostalgia, dawn and twilight(figures in marble, the National Theatre Bucharest), Harmony (marble, private collection, Vienna) etc.
