CRITICAL REVIEW

Tributary to a realist statuary sculpture, Veturia Ilica chose as her favourite subject the human figure and the famous historical characters. She worked during the socialist realism, managing to dissociate herself gradually of the direction imposed, following the practice of an art which recuperates memory.
